Back in the day we were content playing just one game down the chip shop, leisure centre or pub – Arcade classics like Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Asteroids and Street Fighter, and even the scaled down handheld consoles like Puck-Man and Astro Wars only supported 1 game. How things have changed!
Today our desire for gaming is probably stronger than ever, and if you’re between the age of 30 and 60 and you liked games back then, we know you crave not just the odd game but probably all of them – and not just the Arcade Games but the consoles games too.
Back then times seemed happy, it’s like we had hours to just burn with our mates playing footy (or whatever sport you were into) and arcade / console games without the pressures of today. And that’s why we look back so fondly on classic arcade and console games – they made us happy!
